Pocono Township adding 3 pickleball courts to Mountain View Park
Pickleball seems to be all the rage, with courts in high demand, and Pocono Township will be the first municipality to build outdoor courts in Monroe County. "Pickleball is becoming more and more prominent and so many people are asking for it," said Pocono Township Commissioner Natasha Leap. "There is nowhere else really in the area that has courts, so we saw it as an opportunity to invest in it."
Cilli, Pallay combine to power Pope John past Mount Olive - Softball recap
Olivia Cilli went 2-for-4 with four RBI’s and a home run, helping supply offense for Pope John in a 13-5 victory over Mount Olive in Flanders. The victory was the second in the last three starts for the Lions, who got back over .500 at 8-7 on the year. Four runs in the third and five in the fourth erased an early 3-0 deficit for Pope John. Cassie Pallay also had three hits and three runs scored for the winners.

Chelsea Bakker pitched a four-inning no-hitter to lead Kittatinny to a 16-1 win over Dover in Fredon. Bakker gave up one unearned run, struck out four, and walked one for Kittatinny (2-8).
