Jeep careens down 15-foot hillside into Easton yard, bursts into flames
A Jeep SUV headed west on an Easton dead end continued past the end of the street Saturday, careening down a 15-to-20-foot-high hillside into a home’s yard. Then as the driver attempted to move the vehicle, it burst into flames, sending orange flames and black smoke above the West Ward neighborhood, city fire Deputy Chief Chad Gruver said. The driver was taken by ambulance to the hospital. He suffered burns, according to Gruver.

Parents Charged After 7 Kids Found in Nightmarish Conditions, Cops Say
Authorities have charged a couple in Pennsylvania after they say they found their seven children had been severely neglected, with several sick or dangerously malnourished. The seven children allegedly lived in a three-bedroom mobile home in severe disrepair, infested with bugs, and with a lock around their refrigerator to prevent them from stealing food, the Bucks County Courier Times reported. Authorities who examined the children after removing them from the home found they had never been to school, and several didn’t know basic information like their own birthdays. One child had 13 cavities in his teeth. Another had ringworm. Another had maggots in her hair. Five-week investigation leads to Charges against Phillipsburg woman
PHILLIPSBURG, NJ – A Phillipsburg woman has been charged after a five-week investigation into the distribution of methamphetamine May, 26, 2023 according to the Warren County Prosecutor's office. A joint investigation by the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Task Force, Phillipsburg Police, and New Jersey State Police led to a North Main Street search warrant being executed in Phillipsburg. After the search warrant was issued and investigated, an arrest warrant was issued for 41-year-old Patricia Haasz. Haasz is charged with two counts of Possession with the intent to distribute methamphetamine, third-degree crimes, and one count of distribution of methamphetamine, also a third-degree charge. All charges carry a maximum penalty of up to five years in New Jersey State Prison.
