Newton Boys Tennis Team Wins by One Over Lenape Valley

NEWTON, NJ—The Newton High School boys tennis team won 3-2 when they played away against Lenape Valley on Thursday, April 25.

Singles:

• 1st: Sean Palermo (LV) won over Asher Haiduc-Dale (N), 6-1, 6-0
• 2nd: Matt Walter (LV) won over Frankie Boffa (N), 6-1, 4-6, 6-3
• 3rd: Kevin Kozlowski (N) won over Michael Shepherd (LV) 6-3, 6-4

Doubles:

• 1st: Jack Boffa & Ryan Marschall (N) won over Noah DeKnight & Onuche Adejoh (LV) 6-0, 6-2
• 2nd: Frankie Lubrano & Felipe Narvaez (N) won over Luka Grey & Akshat Patel (LV), 6-0, 6-1

The Newton High School boys tennis team moves their overall and NJAC -Colonial division record to 4-1, as they look to host Kittatinny on Monday, April 29 beginning at 4 p.m.
