Order The Cowboy Potatoes At This Old-School Boise, Idaho Diner Regulars Have Loved For Over A Decade
Some breakfast spots chase trends, and some simply refuse to change. This Boise diner belongs firmly in the second group, and its regulars would not have it any other way. People line up at the door before the doors even unlock at 6:30 in the morning. Some of them have been coming since 2013, and a few have been loyal since the 1990s.

This Idaho Buffet Stacks Carved Roast Beef, Baked And Fried Chicken And A Full Salad Bar On One Long Line
A buffet this good needs a game plan, and this Idaho spot doesn’t make it easy. The roast beef cooks overnight in au jus, so it’s been prepping longer than you have. Then there’s the fried chicken, which apparently holds the title of Utah’s number one. The oven-roasted version comes with a house spice blend, so both get a fair shot at your plate.

We Ranked The 6 Best Idaho Chicken Fried Steak Diners And Here Is Who Made The Final Cut
One Idaho diner on this list opened in 1917, which means its griddle has outlasted the Model T. That’s more than a century of cracked eggs and hot coffee. I find that kind of staying power really hard to resist. Chicken fried steak fits right into that story. It’s...

After a ‘devastating fire,' this Meridian bar just reopened. And it ‘felt great'
Months after it was forced to close, a longtime Meridian watering hole returned to action Tuesday. And nobody was happier than Robby Truax, owner of The Curb Bar & Grill. “It was real nice to sit at my bar top and see everyone and say hi to everybody,” Truax admits. “That felt great.” The Curb , at 1760 S. Meridian Road, shuttered in August after what it described on social media as a “devastating fire.” For the last couple of months, the local hangout had served drinks outdoors only, on its large patio. The electrical fire, which started in a wall in the kitchen, required the bar to close temporarily for clean-up and repairs. “Smoke and water damage is what really got us,” Truax says. Even with the bar’s dining room reopened, construction is still ongoing in the kitchen. So for now, The Curb is BYOF, he says — bring your own food. “Bring something from home or order food to The Curb,” the restaurant explains on social media. “We know you want a little snack with your beer! We’ll also do our best to have chips and dip and popcorn available as often as possible while the kitchen finishes

To mark the occasion, Mo’ Bettahs will host its traditional store-opening sneak peek on Thursday — aka the “Friends and ‘Ohana” celebration. Customers will be treated to a free lunchtime mini-plate and drink from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Mo’ Bettahs will hold a ribbon-cutting at 4:30 p.m., then a party from 5 to 7 p.m. featuring samples, merchandise and a photo booth, according to a press release. Hand-Pulled Noodles And Dumplings Draw A Crowd To This Small Idaho Chinese Kitchen
One 83-year-old chef has been cooking noodles at the same small stove since 1983. He still makes his own won-ton wrappers, too. His kitchen claims to be the only Chinese restaurant in Idaho doing both from scratch. That alone made me stop scrolling. The dining room keeps things simple, with...
