Atlantic Boy’s Top Harlan in H10 Golf
(Atlantic) Hudson McLaren and Tristan Hayes led Atlantic to a 153 to 176 win over Harlan on Tuesday in a boys’ match at the Atlantic Golf and Country Club. McLaren medaled with a 37, and Hayes finished runner-up medalist with a 38. Brady Wood and Roth Den Beste added to the scoring with 39s. Gage Gross carded a 41, and Sam Brosam posted a score of 42.
Atlantic Boy’s Golf Team Team Wins Triangular at Red Oak
(Red Oak) The Atlantic Boy’s Golf team captured the team title over Shenandoah and Red Oak in a triangular at Red Oak. The Trojans shot 160, Shenandoah 173, and Red Oak 193. Atlantic Sophomore Hudson McLaren medaled, and teammate Tristan Hayes, runner-up. McLaren fired a 38, and Hayes finished with a 39. Gage Gross carded a 41, Brady Wood and Sam Brosam a 42, and Roth Den Beste brought a 49.

Wheelers Take Boy’s Team Victory Over Griswold as the Girls Earn Top Two Spots for the Tigers
(Audubon, IA) – At the Audubon Country Club on Thursday evening, the Audubon boys were able to capture a win over the Griswold Tigers 177-201 while Griswold’s girls captured both medals. The conditions were windy, to say the least, with 30-mile-per-hour wins coming out of the southeast making it difficult for a few golfers to get into the flow of the course. What made it more difficult was that Griswold hadn’t played at Audubon before with some tricky holes and tall hills that made it difficult for the Tigers to adjust to the course.
Back-to-Back Meet Action for AHSTW Boy’s Track and Field
(Avoca, IA) – AHSTW boy’s track and field have already jumped into track and field action this week while finishing third as a team overall in last night’s meet at Woodbine. Head Coach Jackson Renberg was happy with the night his boys had out on the track including Luke Sternberg in the 200m dash, Gavin Newcomb in the 110m hurdles, and the relay teams in the 4x200m relay, 4x800m relay, and the shuttle hurdle.
Griswold Girls Finish in Top Two Spots as Both Teams Fall to Underwood
(Griswold, IA) – At the Griswold Golf and Country Club on Tuesday, the Underwood Eagles took both first in the boy’s and girl’s competitions over the Tigers, despite Griswold featuring the medalist and runner-up for the girls. In the boy’s competition, Luke Seidler of Underwood shot 45 while the runner-up in the meet, Danny Stein of Underwood shot 47 overall. On the girl’s side, Griswold featured medalist Linsey Keiser with a 43 while Joanna Reynolds shot 47 on the evening. You can find all the results below.
CAM Golf Reaching Their Expectations Just in Time for the Last Few Weeks of the Regular Season
(Anita, IA) – CAM boy’s and girl’s golf continue to see the scores go down with multiple wins toward the end of the season. On the boy’s side, the Cougars saw one of their best overall performances of the season with some personal bests and top finishes overall. The Cougars featured Chase Jahde in first place with a 38 while Coby Venteicher, Bradyn Bohnsack, and Austin Eblen all earned some of their best scores on Tuesday evening. Head Coach Joe Wollum loves to see his team trending in the right direction.
CAM Sweeps the Top Spots in Menlo in Boys and Girls Golf Action
(Menlo, IA) – At the 5×80 golf course on Thursday evening, the CAM Cougars boy’s golf team was able to take the top spot once again and featured two medalists while the girls are just short of having a full team but featured the medalist and runner-up. The boys were able to beat West Central Valley 187-209 and Exira-EHK 187-217. CAM’s Chase Jahde shot 38 while being the medalist and Coby Venteicher also got in on the top action after shooting 49. The girl’s side featured medalist Kaitlyn Platt who shot 59 while Jenna Platt was a runner-up with a 61. You can find all the results below.
Griswold Golf Has Elevated Their Performance With a Young Squad
(Griswold, IA) – Griswold golf has already had a busy week with golf matchups on Monday and Tuesday. The boys fell in both matchups but featured Hogan Hook as a medalist on Monday while the boys didn’t feature a medalist in yesterday’s dual against Underwood. This young Griswold team has only continued to see improvement, including Colten Taylor who was shooting in the 80s to start the season and has brought his stroke count to the mid-50s.
Cougar Boy’s Golf Wins CAM Invite as Riverside Girls Take First on Tuesday
(Anita, IA) – At Crestwood Hills Golf Club in Anita, the CAM boys were able to take first place overall after shooting 171 while the Riverside girls took first after shooting an even 200. Earning the top spot for the boys was Chase Jahde of CAM who shot a 38 on the day. Coming right behind him was Riverside’s Taven Moore who shot a 41 overall. On the girl’s side, Addison Brink shot a 39 for Riverside while CAM’s Jenna Platt shot 50 on the evening. You can find all the results below.
