Atlantic Boy’s Top Harlan in H10 Golf

(Atlantic) Hudson McLaren and Tristan Hayes led Atlantic to a 153 to 176 win over Harlan on Tuesday in a boys’ match at the Atlantic Golf and Country Club.

McLaren medaled with a 37, and Hayes finished runner-up medalist with a 38. Brady Wood and Roth Den Beste added to the scoring with 39s. Gage Gross carded a 41, and Sam Brosam posted a score of 42.

Jonas Reynolds led Harlan with a 40, Bradyn Ernst shot 41, Brock Lundy 47, Owen Neve and Kiron Leinen 48, and Jason Erlmeier 50.

Hudson McLaren says his swing has been coming around the past couple of weeks.

Tristan Hayes says he had a rough first hole but picked up from there.

Atlantic Head Coach Kendra Henningsen sent a note to the team before today’s round, asking for a goal to shoot a team score of 155. The team exceeded the goal by two strokes.

Atlantic travels to Red Oak on Thursday for a triangular with Red Oak and Shenandoah.
