Rusty’s Ramblings: UGA top-target note and checking in on JUCO DL offer

I have confirmed one of UGA’s top targets in the 2025 class will be in town next week for camp. Lowndes athlete Todd Robinson is expected in town on May 30. Some think he is a defenisve back on the next level and some think he is a running back.

I am told UGA will work him out at both next week. Regardless, he is a take for the Bulldogs. They love his toughness and upside as a player. He will be at Alabama the following day, then comes back to UGA for an official visit the weekend of June 7. Right now he is a three-star prospect in the On3 Industry Ranking but that could change soon.

*** I have done some checking on a prospect who was in town last weekend and that is junior college defensive end Zavion Hardy and see where he is at physically after being out of high school for a couple of years. I am told that he measured in at 6-foot-4.5 and 275 pound. That is a great weight for him and he has grown almost two inches since his high school days as well. Georgia really likes him at the 5-Tech defensive end spot and he will be back on campus for an official visit soon.

Again, I do not expect UGA to host any visitors this weekend. But a week from now, UGA will be hosting a camp and then it is a major official visit weekend starting on May 31. We will have more on that list in coming days.
