Man charged in stabbing investigation in Vinton County, Ohio
VINTON COUNTY, Ohio (WCHS) — A man was charged after a stabbing incident in Vinton County, Ohio, on Sunday, deputies said. Bradley Day, 32, of Circleville, Ohio, was charged with felonious assault and tampering with evidence after an incident in McArthur, according to the Vinton County Sheriff’s Office.

LOGAN — Hocking County has a new prosecuting attorney, who has the hopes of turning around an office that has been through the wringer in recent years. Jennifer Graham, initially appointed by the county commissioners to take the place of resigning prosecutor Ryan Black, was elected Wednesday by the county Republican Party to fill the rest of Black’s term, through the end of 2024. Dicken set for trial in August
Former Hocking County Commissioner Jessica Dicken was in county common pleas court Tuesday for a brief pre-trial hearing. Dicken is scheduled to go to trial starting Aug. 6 on charges of theft, telecommunications fraud, elections falsification, money laundering, and soliciting or accepting improper compensation. In January a three-judge commission appointed by the Ohio Supreme Court’s chief justice voted that Dicken should be suspended from office based on her criminal indictment.

April 18: Deputies responded to Pretty Run Road in reference to a trespassing complaint. Kenneth Stevens, 44, of South Bloomingville, was arrested at the scene by deputies on an outstanding felony warrant out of Vinton County Common Pleas Court. Stevens was transported to Southeastern Ohio Regional Jail. April 21 Deputies responded to State Route 93 in reference to a trespassing complaint. Richard Kirby, 66, of McArthur, was arrested at the scene after suspected narcotics were located. Kirby was transported to Southeastern Ohio Regional Jail.
