Last round of frost for a while in Ohio, West Virginia and Kentucky

(WOWK) – Another cooler night is expected in the region, but StormTracker 13 Meteorologists say that this could be our last round of frost for a while in the lowlands of Appalachia.

Frost Advisories are in effect tonight in Athens and Vinton Counties. Gardeners in areas of southeastern Ohio may want to bring their plants indoors or cover them up overnight. Temperatures will stay above frost advisory levels in eastern Kentucky and western West Virginia.

Our morning lows will steadily warm up over the next few nights, and warmer than normal morning temperatures are expected for the weekend. The warmer mornings will continue into next week.

On average, the last frost in our area tends to arrive next week, but with warmer weather expected next week StormTracker 13 Meteorologist predict that this year the last frost chance could be tonight!
