CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WCHS) — One lane of traffic moved onto the new Donald M. Legg Memorial Bridge along Interstate 64 Thursday, transportation officials said. The span, connecting Nitro and St. Albans, is part of a $225 million effort to widen the interstate to six lanes between Nitro and U.S. 35, according to a news release from the West Virginia Department of Transportation.
