ASHVILLE — Friday, Teays Valley High School celebrated the 308 graduates of the 2024 class.

It was a perfect evening to celebrate the students and all they accomplished throughout their thirteen years of school. It was a moment to look back on all the memories and successes of the last few years, but it was also a moment of excitement for what’s to come.

Before the seniors received their diplomas, Teays Valley Superintendent Kyle Wolfe gave the class some advice as they move on to the next chapter of their lives.

“If you want something, you’ll have to work for it. Nothing worth having ever comes easy.

Don’t be afraid to fail. In fact, I encourage you to fail. Try new things. You will fail, possibly many times, but keep working because you will learn from each opportunity and each failure.

Show up for other people because life is not all about you.

Surround yourself with like-minded people who love and support you through the celebrations and also through the disappointments in life.”

Before ending his speech, Wolfe said he is grateful for the legacy and for the memories that the students will leave at Teays Valley High School.

“Congratulations to the class of 2024. Go do great things and go Vikings.”
