Wichita police asking for help in locating vehicle from hit and run

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — The Wichita Police Department is asking the public for help in locating a vehicle that was involved in a hit and run Tuesday night .

The vehicle is a dark-colored sedan.

The hit and run it was involved in happened around 9 p.m. Tuesday in the 800 block of S. Woodlawn St.

The pedestrian that was hit was left critically injured. As of Wednesday morning, they were still hospitalized with serious injuries.

The WPD is asking if anyone knows where the vehicle is or has any information regarding this investigation to contact the WPD’s Accident Follow-Up detectives at 316-350-3685 . You can also submit an anonymous tip to Crime Stoppers by calling 316-267-2111 or going online .

An investigation is ongoing. KSN will provide more information as it becomes available.
