Grand Avenue Bridge in Diamond Bar Will be Closed Overnight on Nov. 13

The Grand Avenue bridge in Diamond Bar will be closed overnight Nov. 13 to accommodate work on the 57/60 Confluence Project, officials announced Thursday. The bridge, adjacent to the Pomona (60) Freeway, will be closed from 8 p.m. Nov. 13 until 8 a.m. the following day, according to the San Gabriel Valley Council of Governments.

LA, Orange County Gas Prices Fall Again

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped 2.5 cents Wednesday to $5.938, its 32nd decrease in the last 34 days. The average price is 10.7 cents less than one week ago and 48.2 cents less than one month ago, but $1.155 more than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has increased $1.244 since the start of the joint U.S./Israel war on Iran on Feb. 28, which sent oil prices higher and drastically accelerated increases at the gas pump.
