LA, Orange County Gas Prices Fall Again

1 days agoThe average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped 2.5 cents Wednesday to $5.938, its 32nd decrease in the last 34 days. The average price is 10.7 cents less than one week ago and 48.2 cents less than one month ago, but $1.155 more than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has increased $1.244 since the start of the joint U.S./Israel war on Iran on Feb. 28, which sent oil prices higher and drastically accelerated increases at the gas pump.
