Two burglary suspects are behind bars after police found them hiding under the HVAC system inside a Tarrant pharmacy. Police responded to a burglary alarm at 12:44 a.m. Sunday at Kessler’s Pharmacy on East Lake Boulevard. They canvassed the area and determined at least one suspect was still inside.

Cullman Regional to establish Level II nursery as part of OB expansion
CULLMAN, Ala. – Cullman Regional is expanding obstetric and nursery services with the addition of a fourth OB- GYN physician, six neonatologists and four neonatal nurse practitioners to its medical staff, the hospital said in a media release this week. The new neonatology providers will offer around-the-clock care to babies born at Cullman Regional beginning this summer.

Pinson City Council recognizes Pinson Elementary School principal
PINSON – The Pinson City Council recognized Pinson Elementary School principal Ann King and proclaimed May 21 to be Ann King Day during a meeting on Monday, May 13. With 22 years in education under her belt, King is planning to retire after the end of this year. She was not present at the meeting, but a proclamation was read by Councilwoman Clinteshia Irvin that detailed her stint at the school, being assistant principal for six years and principal for three years.
