Victim identified in deadly Fultondale shooting
FULTONDALE, Ala. — Police are investigating the shooting death of a Birmingham man over the weekend. The Jefferson County Coroner's Office identified the victim as 30-year-old Alexander Rombley-Fernandez. The shooting happened at 4:42 a.m. on Sunday at a Fultondale mobile home community in the 2700 block of Stonefield Drive.
17-year-old Gardendale juvenile killed in Shelby County ATV crash
GARDENDALE, Ala. (WBRC) - An ATV crash that occurred at 1:20 a.m. Saturday morning has claimed the life of a 17-year-old Gardendale juvenile. Officials say that the 17-year-old was traveling on Shelby County 62, approximately three miles east of Harpersville in Shelby County, when the ATV left the roadway, struck an embankment, and overturned. The juvenile was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene. Officials say that the juvenile was not wearing their seatbelt at the time.
Citizens jump in to help keep first responders safe at the scene of a traffic accident in Warrior
WARRIOR, Ala. (WBRC) - Police officers dedicate their lives to protecting citizens, but recently in Warrior, it was citizens helping protect first responders. Warrior police said that they and Warrior Fire and Rescue were dispatched to a wreck in the 1000 block of Warrior Jasper Road at 10 a.m. Thursday. As first responders were treating a patient and investigating the wreck, they noticed traffic flowing smoothly around them.

Birmingham police have identified an Adamsville man as the victim in a fatal shooting Saturday afternoon in west Birmingham. Sgt. LaQuitta Wade said Lakevin Ralpheal Debruce, 22, died following a shooting that occurred at 4:01 p.m. in the 2600 block of Avenue C in Birmingham. Debruce died at UAB Hospital.
