Your 2026 Voter Guide: See what’s on the ballot
On a weeknight in late October, a Dallas County resident can sit at a kitchen table with a sample ballot that runs longer than a grocery list. Judges, constables, bond proposals, and statewide offices appear in a sequence that rewards patience more than passion. When I was graduating from high school, I had offers to go to college. I could have done that, and it just wasn't what I felt I needed at the time, and so I really had this strong desire to go serve.” In 2005, he married his
