A Fort Worth gas station clerk was wounded by a stray bullet amidst an altercation at the Valero station on Trinity Boulevard late Tuesday night. Shots were fired in the parking lot during the dispute, injuring the clerk who is expected to recover. The shooter remains at large.

Gas station shooting leaves employee injured, suspects unknown
FORT WORTH (CBSNewsTexas.com) – Police are investigating after a late night shooting left a gas station employee with a gunshot wound. They say it happened on June 6 around 11:30 p.m. at the Valero Gas Station at 13900 Trinity Blvd.The shooting took place in the parking lot, sending at least one round through the window of the store, striking an employee. Police say those involved in the shooting fled the scene. There is no word on a description of the suspects or a motive.The employee was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Tarrant County man arrested after trying to kidnap a girl from her home

Commissioners approve new homestead exemptions for Tarrant County homeowners
Tarrant County homeowners will get further tax relief this year amid skyrocketing appraisals, after county commissioners approved the creation of two new homestead exemptions. Homestead exemptions are measures that ‘exempt’ a certain amount of a property’s value from taxation. Under the Texas tax code, taxing units like the county are allowed to adopt an optional homestead exemption of up to 20% of a property’s appraised value. These optional homestead exemptions are in addition to others required by tax code, including school district exemptions.

No injuries reported at partially collapsed building in Fort Worth
FORT WORTH (CBSNewsTexas) - A partial building collapse occurred near downtown Fort Worth on Tuesday, prompting an emergency response from local authorities. The incident occurred on the 700 block of North Freeway, south of Pharr Street and was reported just before 3:45 pm.
