GAINESVILLE, Texas — Dozens of cars were left on a North Texas highway Thursday as poor road conditions made the highways and many surrounding roads impassable. Gainesville firefighters help people dealing with flooding in south Texas
GAINESVILLE, Texas (KXII) - Six firefighters from Gainesville have been deployed to southeastern Texas since the beginning of May to help people impacted by flooding. Gainesville Fire-Rescue shared that members of the department are working with Texas A&M Task Force 1, along with task forces from Florida, Michigan, North Carolina and Tennessee to help with searches, damage assessments and welfare checks in the area.
