Marion police identify pedestrian killed after being hit by semi on Highway 13
MARION, Iowa — The Marion Police Department has identified the city resident that was killed after he was stuck by a semi Friday. On April 26 at around 3am, first responders reported to the scene at Highway 13 near Linn Aire Avenue, where they found the pedestrian, 20-year-old Julian Gibson suffering serious injuries after he had been hit by the semi tractor trailer.

BUCHANAN COUNTY, Iowa (KCRG) - The Buchanan County Sheriff’s Office is working with Iowa DCI to investigate after a man was injured in a shooting this morning. Buchanan County Health Center Emergency Room staff reported they had an adult male in their ER with a gunshot wound to the abdomen around 9am, and contacted officials.
