There was disappointing news earlier this week that Gillette Stadium will not host the Super Bowls due to scheduling issues, but that will all be forgotten once the games kick off on Thursday. Led by three defending state champions - Scituate (Division 4), Cohasset (Div. 7) and Randolph (Div. 8) - the South Shore will be represented by 22 teams in the playoffs. There are two games that pit area teams against each other, both in Div. 3. No. 3 Marshfield will host No. 14 Silver Lake in a rematch of a game from a month ago. No. 8 Milton will host No. 9 Hingham in what could be one of the most competitive games of the weekend.
