A Massachusetts man won $100,000 from a free lottery ticket he got while playing the numbers from his late wife’s grave. Leonard Beach, of Mattapan, was one of three to win $100,000 during the Massachusetts State Lottery’s ticket promotion. If a player bought $4 or more of any draw or monitor game on a single ticket between April 11 and May 12, they had the chance to get a free Quic Pic ticket for the next “Mass Cash,” “The Numbers Game” or “Keno” drawing.

Lapeer man charged for allegedly defrauding company of nearly $1 million
LAPEER, Mich.—A Michigan man has been indicted by a jury in Massachusetts for his connection with an alleged scheme to defraud a construction company. Jonathan McCormack was indicted on 17 counts of wire fraud and 12 counts of engaging in monetary transactions in criminally derived property of a value greater than $10,000.
Worcester Police Seek Public's Help in Search for Two Missing Teens from Milford
The Worcester Police Department has issued a plea for public assistance in the search for two missing teenagers, both originally from Milford but believed to be currently in Worcester. Ana Dias, 15, and Iara Neves, 16, have been missing and their whereabouts are urgently being sought by authorities.
