WEATHERLY, CARBON CO. (WOLF) — When police responded to a Carbon County home for a call about an overnight burglary, a suspect was reportedly found asleep in the residence. According to the Weatherly Police Department, on Thursday around 6:55 a.m., officers were dispatched to a residence on Plane Street for a report of at least one person breaking into the residence overnight.

Man Succumbs To Injuries Suffered In Friday Accident
Delaware State Police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred near Bethany Beach on Friday night. Officials said on April 19, 2024, at approximately 6:58 p.m., a Ford F-350 pick-up truck, pulling a trailer, was driving southbound in the right lane on Coastal Highway south of Dune Road. At the same time a Jaguar F-type was driving southbound on Coastal Highway, behind the F-350. For reasons under investigation, the driver of the Jaguar lost control causing him to hit the trailer being pulled by the F-350. As a result, the trailer disconnected from the F-350 and overturned according to police.
