Deadly crash in Carbon County
CARBON COUNTY, Pa. — At least one person is dead after a crash in Carbon County. Officials with the Carbon County Coroner's Office responded to the crash along I-80 Westbound in Kidder Township shortly after 8 p.m. Tuesday night. There is no word yet on what caused the crash.

A 38-year-old Allentown man is headed from Lehigh County Jail to Norristown State Hospital after his attorney fought to get him out of solitary confinement. The man’s name is being withheld due to his mental health condition. He has charges pending against him after he was accused of breaking into a building on Sept. 11 at Resurrection Cemetery on North Krocks Road in Upper Macungie Township.

Pedestrian Struck Dead In Lehigh County: Coroner
Sixty-nine-year-old Bruce C. Foley was on the 5600 block of West Tilghman Street when he was hit around 7:15 p.m., according to Coroner Daniel Buglio. Foley, of Lower Macungie, was rushed to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest where he died from multiple traumatic injuries before 8 p.m., officials said. The manner of death was ruled accidental.

DA: Man tried to destroy drugs in Emmaus home as authorities served search warrant
EMMAUS, Pa. - Authorities in Lehigh County say a man has been arrested after trying to destroy drugs during the execution of a search warrant at his home. Bryan Reyes, 30, of Emmaus, is charged with possession with intent to deliver, a felony; tampering with or fabricating evidence, a misdemeanor of the second degree; and simple possession, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a small amount of marijuana; all misdemeanors, according to a news release from the Lehigh County District Attorney's Office.
