Sam Fox, one of Arizona's most prolific restaurateurs, announced he has stepped away from his group Fox Restaurant Concepts after nearly three decades. The move will allow Fox to focus on his latest venture, Author & Edit Hospitality, which is responsible for The Global Ambassador Hotel in Phoenix and The Twelve Thirty Club in Nashville. In an exclusive interview with The Arizona Republic, Fox said that seeing how much success he's had with The Global Ambassador has inspired him to continue down the path of the hotel business. "I've been in the restaurant business all my life," Fox said. "Being able to go to work and be really excited and getting to learn a whole new sort of discipline within the hospitality business is something that really excites me."
