Bone found in Arizona belonged to Marine who died over 70 years ago in California
YAVAPAI COUNTY, Ariz. — A piece of a child's rock collection has been identified as a jaw bone that belonged to a military service member who died in 1951. The Ramapo College Investigative Genetic Genealogy Center recently helped the Yavapai County Sheriff's Office to identity a bone that had somehow ended up in a rock collection.
Town of Cave Creek awards annual grants to non-profits
Congratulations are extended to local non-profits in Cave Creek and the Desert Foothills that received grant funding from the Cave Creek Town Council on April 1, 2024. The Council approved the recommendations of a newly created, resident-driven Community Grants Committee to award a total of $40,000 to 9 local agencies.
