Five illicit massage businesses shut down in Southern Oregon
MEDFORD, Ore.- Five massage businesses in Southern Oregon closed their doors following a crackdown on suspected illicit operations. The businesses closed this summer after receiving multiple citations and investigations from the Oregon Board of Massage Therapists. According to the OBMT, illicit massage businesses tend to operate without a license, offer sexual services and sometimes participate in human trafficking. Three of these businesses were found in Medford, including 365 Day Spa, Lavender Spa and Yu Daw Foot Spa. One was located in Grants Pass and another in Roseburg.
