Third day of Boatnik fun in Grants Pass
GRANTS PASS, Ore. – Boatnik 2024’s third day got going with the parade Saturday morning, Brewfest, and exciting speedboat exhibitions. Community members flocked to Riverside Park in Grants Pass today to enjoy the carnival and food vendors which lined the paths of the park. Speed and junior boat exhibitions had the crowds going wild with cheers. Local breweries were on hand to serve up some of the region’s ciders and bees inside Brewfest.
Dutch Bros. fundraiser totals $2.5 million for ALS research and services
The Grants Pass-based coffee chain raised the money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association through their 18th annual “Drink one for Dane” event. The fundraiser honors co-founder Dane Boersma, who died from ALS in 2009.

Dutch Bros raises $2.5M to help cure ALS during annual Drink One for Dane
GRANTS PASS, Ore. – Dutch Bros and its customers raised $2.5 million during the company’s annual Drink One for Dane fundraiser earlier this month. On May 17 coffee and tea lovers who stopped by their local Dutch Bros helped support the Muscular Dystrophy Association. For every drink sold that day, the Dutch Bros Foundation made a donation to MDA.
