Green Island Police are investigating an incident in which a bullet was lodged in the window of a home on Lafayette Street. Police believe the incident happened 12 to 1 a.m. on Wednesday and actually happened on the 9E Exit ramp of I 787. The bullet was a 9 mm.
Traffic stop leads to ghost gun arrest for 2 in Albany
Two Albany men were arrested after a traffic stop in Albany Tuesday evening. Nazaruz Thompson and Sincere Cobb, both 19, allegedly had a loaded ghost gun and did not have the right to possess firearms, per the Albany County Sheriff's Office.

Amsterdam woman killed in one-car Thruway crash
CATSKILL – An evening car crash on the northbound Thruway in the Town of Catskill has claimed the life of a 66-year-old Amsterdam woman, State Police report. The driver, Regina Levine, was driving between the Saugerties and Catskill exits at around 6:40 p.m. on April 19 when for an unknown reason, her 2004 Ford Escape, traveling in the passing lane, ran off the road, went through a guiderail, struck an earth embankment and overturned.
