Child Airlifted From Central Park In Saugus

A child was airlifted from Central Park Monday after suffering from a medical emergency in Saugus.

Around 6:10 p.m. Monday, first responders received reports of a medical emergency on Dan Court In Saugus, Ami Velderrain a dispatch supervisor with the Los Angeles County Fire Department confirmed.

The child was unconscious, according to initial reports.

An ambulance escorted by Sheriff’s deputies transported the child to Central Park where they were airlifted by L.A. County Fire Copter 12 to a specialty hospital, according to officials.

The exact age and condition of the patient is unknown.
