Year-over-year, rents in the metro rose 2.5 percent, far outpacing the U.S. average of 0.4 percent. Although stabilized occupancy softened on a year-over-year basis, Cleveland remained in line with the national average at 94.2 percent.

Wooster resident honored for decades of aviation service

Wooster resident Gayle Gorman Green has received the Beechcraft Heritage Museum’s Eagle Award, an honor recognizing service and leadership in the Beechcraft community. Green was named the recipient of the award, according to a community announcement. The award was presented during the museum’s Awards Banquet, held as part of its 53rd national fly-in, Beech Party, Oct. 11-13 in Tullahoma, Tennessee. The three-day event drew more than 160 aircraft and over 1,000 guests, according to the announcement. The Eagle Award recognizes a museum member whose time, talents, commitment, leadership and service advance the museum’s mission. Previous Eagle Award recipients nominate and select honorees. Les Marsh, the 2025 Eagle Award recipient and the museum’s director of restorations and preservation, presented the award to Green. Green has introduced more than 500 young people to aviation by providing free airplane rides through the Experimental Aircraft Association’s Young Eagles program. She also developed an 11-step program to help friends and acquaintances overcome a fear of flying. Participants completed the program by taking a flight with Green. Green holds a commercial pilot certificate with rotorcraft, instrument, glider and seaplane ratings and has logged more than 3,800 flight hours. She continues to fly a 7GCBC Citabria and
