A Painesville man was arrested and faces multiple charges in connection with shots fired in the woods near Extended Stay America hotel in Mentor. According to a memo to Mentor City Council, on May 8, police arrested Jonathan Hicks from Painesville. He was charged with having weapons under disability and tampering with evidence, both third-degree felonies; weapons while intoxicated, a first-degree misdemeanor; discharging a firearm, fourth-degree misdemeanor, and disorderly conduct, a minor misdemeanor.
