The Texas Ranger Hall of Fame and Museum is honoring 4 new inductees to have a good time the 2 hundredth anniversary of the Texas Rangers. A few more storms may pop up with the heating of the afternoon Saturday with highs in the upper 80s to near 90°. Sunday should bring a better chance of scattered showers and storms. We aren't expecting much in the way of severe weather, but gusty winds, lightning, and locally heavy downpours will be possible. Highs should be a bit cooler Sunday afternoon in the mid 80s.

Tyler man to serve 18 years in prison for deadly crash
TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - A Tyler man accepted a plea deal Friday to serve 18 years in prison for causing a deadly crash last year. Nicholas Ray Agustin, 20, pleaded guilty to charges of intoxication manslaughter and intoxication assault for a crash he caused last October. It happened on State Highway 110 near Tyler, when Agustin crossed into the other lane of traffic, where he collided with another car.

The rescheduling of the Class of 2023 graduation ceremony was quite a shock for the students, their families, and the community last week. After an audit revealed 21 of 38 seniors were not eligible to walk the stage to receive a diploma, Marlin ISD Superintendent Dr. Darryl Henson held a mandatory open meeting for the seniors and their parents to explain factors influencing the decision. WACO, Texas (FOX 44) – UPDATE: An arrest has been made in connection with a fatal crash in Waco on May 17. The Waco Police Department says that 31-year-old Lee Jordan Murrow, of Marlin, has been charged with Manslaughter and Injury to a Child. This is due to reckless driving, which caused the crash.
Man charged with hiding camera in bathroom of renter
Waco, Tx (FOX44) – A 54-year-old Waco man is facing felony charges, and is accused of hiding a camera in the bathroom of a room he rented out. Stephen Diamond was arrested after the 24-year-old woman he rented a room to in his home found something wrong less than a day after moving in. Waco Police Department spokesperson Cierra Shipley said the victim rented a room in the home in the 9300 block of Regal Drive – but soon found a camera disguised as a charging dock in the bathroom.
