A mobile farmers market is expanding in Yolo County. The county’s Health and Human Services agency announced its support for the expansion on Friday. Staff said the market has enjoyed three successful years in West Sacramento, providing access to locally grown, seasonal produce and helping to support local small farms.

Sacramento woman dead after being hit by a car on I-5, CHP says
SACRAMENTO, Calif. — California Highway Patrol says a woman is dead after being hit by a car on northbound I-5 early Sunday morning. CHP says they responded to a call of a vehicle vs. pedestrian on I-5 northbound at the US 50 transition. Once on scene, it was learned that a woman was driving a white Toyota going 65 miles per hour when she suddenly saw the other woman in front of her vehicle.
