Peoria-area farmers markets to check out this year
A new summer shopping opportunity – the Sheridan Market – began its season on May 1 and will take place on Wednesdays. The Peoria Farmers Market at Metro Centre also began its 2024 season in early May.
The Peoria Riverfront Market will begin its season on May 18.

Family rebrands and reopens longtime Morton ice cream shop
Previously home to the longtime Carius family Dairy Queen , Carius Creamery opened earlier this year. The family’s new ice cream shop features regular and dipped cones, candy shakes, creamers and more.
"It's been a great opening because everybody is so excited with us and that's been fun,” Dawn Carius said.

Starbucks introduces boba-inspired item on its summer menu
Starbucks customers can now find a variety of limited-time summer menu items. This includes the Summer-Berry Starbucks Refreshers – which combine a blue, berry flavored drink with red, raspberry flavored pearls.
