Tis the season! Georgia Southern PAC announces 2026 holiday performance lineup
The Georgia Southern University Performing Arts Center (PAC) is kicking off the holiday season later this month with family-friendly events that last through the days leading up to Christmas. Director Daniel Brown and his team have planned a full slate of activities centered around their annual Christmas production, continuing their hope to make the PAC a welcoming and essential part of the community’s holiday plans. “Every year we look to plan a Christmas show," Brown said. "The reception to last year’s, ‘I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas’ was so positive that we chose to book two holiday shows this year, ‘Frosty: A Musical Adventure’ and ‘Jim Curry presents John Denver’s A Rocky Mountain Christmas’.” The first show, Frosty: A Musical Adventure, is based on the iconic Christmas song “Frosty the Snowman.” A young orphan named Billy discovers magic in a stolen hat, and when he places it on a snowman’s head, that snowman comes to life! Can Frosty help Billy find his real family in time for Christmas? Join them in a thrilling quest through New York City as they discover that the real magic of the season is love.
