New grocery store is opening in Fountain Heights: ‘We all deserve good, beautiful things’
For the first time in 70 years, a new grocery store is opening in Birmingham’s Fountain Heights neighborhood. The project is led by the Fountain Heights Farms Cooperative, a Black-owned urban farming and social justice organization. The We All Eat Market will be located on the ground floor of the cooperative’s Heart of the Farm building located at 1201 16th St. N. The grand opening is set for Saturday, Nov. 7.

Husband-and-wife team opens Hwy 31 Wine & Spirits in Pelham
PELHAM – Pelham’s newest business is bringing an expanded selection of spirits, beer, wine and tobacco products to a busy stretch of Pelham Parkway. Hwy 31 Wine & Spirits, located at 2169 Pelham Parkway, Suite B, officially opened on Thursday, Oct. 8.
