Three murders in one day raise concerns of hitting Birmingham homicide record
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Several families are hurt after three deadly shootings Tuesday afternoon. It began near Midfield, where Antonio Coleman’s body was found. Less than four hours later, Demetrius Knight was fatally shot and spent his last moments alive driving in Forestdale, where he ended up crashing his car. Then, Phillip Bailey was killed during a fight in the Mason City area. No arrests have been made in any of these cases.
