    Sunset Yoga Downtown

    Sundays @ 5:30 pm - Fourth Bluff Park

    Price: Free · Duration: 1 hr

    Sunset Yoga is back! Put on by the Downtown Memphis Commission and Memphis River Parks Partnership, classes will be held very Sunday from 5:30 pm-6:30 pm at Fourth Bluff Park with instructor Bridget Sisney of Universoul Wellness! All ages and experience levels are welcome.

    Hattie’s Line Dance with a Twist

    Hattie’s Line Dance with a Twist is a fun energetic Hip Hop line dance class with a mix of aerobic exercises to make a fun dance workout!

    Club Fit, an intricate part of B.A.B.Y.F.A.T, uses music, dance and exercise as a fun, addictive way to increase physical activity by partnering with awesome fitness instructors from the community who share their talents in an effort to keep you moving and having blast doing so!     Mix it Up Mondays with Cat

    Mondays @ 6:00 pm - Club Fit (Babyfat Club Fit)

    Tickets $5

    Join every Monday at 6PM at 3401 Summer Avenue for a fun energetic fitness mix of Zumba, Hip Hop, Line Dance and Toning! A great fun way to lose pounds and inches, relieve stress and fight off deadly diseases that physical activity and exercise can remedy!!

    This class is for any fitness level and you do need to know how ro dance. You just gotta know how to have FUN! Don’t have a sitter? They’re child friendly, and classes for youth ages 6 - 16 are also free!!

    Shelby Farms: Get Outside Fitness Programs

    Tai Chi

    Wednesdays @ 3:00pm - AutoZone Front Porch at the First Horizon Foundation Visitor Center

    Relieve stress and increase flexibility by participating in Tai Chi classes led by a certified instructor. Tai Chi is an ancient practice that is enjoyable and safe for every fitness level. The slow, meditative movements of Tai Chi increase strength, range of motion and coordination. Classes can be enjoyed either sitting or standing. Comfortable shoes and loose clothing are recommended. Please bring a personal water bottle.

    Pilates In The Park

    Tuesdays @ 5:45 pm - Shelby Farms Park Visitor's Center

    July 6, July 20, August 3 & August 17

    Pilates In The Park has returned to Shelby Farms Park and will continue through the summer! Whether you’re a Pilates pro or new to the practice, these Pilates mat classes will be a perfect addition to any workout! Mats will NOT be provided for the class.

    Bring your mat, lots of water, sunscreen, and friends and join us at Shelby Farms Park for a 45 minute Pilates class! All levels are welcome! The class will meet outside the visitor's center and set up in the grass overlooking the lake. Be sure to arrive early to check in and sign your class waivers!

    Total Body Conditioning

    Wednesdays @ 5:45pm - First Horizon Foundation Visitor Center Lawn

    Total Body Conditioning is a full body workout designed to stretch and strengthen all of the major muscle groups. All that is needed is a mat or a large towel and your body! The class is taught by instructors from Ballet Memphis. 

    Hoop Fitness

    Saturdays @ 9:30am - First Horizon Foundation Visitor Center Lawn

    Hoop Fitness is a low-impact, full body cardio workout that can burn up to 700 calories per hour! Workouts will increase core strength, balance, coordination, posture, muscle tone and self confidence, all while having fun! This isn't your kid's hula hoop! This class uses adult sized hula hoops that make it easier to maintain momentum while waist hooping and that will build strength while moving the hoop around the body. You are welcome to bring your own fitness hoop or you may borrow one from the instructor. A limited number of hoops will be available on a first come, first served basis.
