NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – A pickup truck driver was arrested after he allegedly stabbed another driver during a road rage dispute on the Upper East Side on Tuesday, authorities said.

According to police, the argument between the two men began in Queens around 7 p.m.

The two then drove over the Ed Koch Queensboro Bridge into Manhattan where they continued to repeatedly cut each other off, officials said.

They crashed near East 62nd Street and Lexington Avenue, where 28-year-old Antal Lakatos, driving a yellow pickup truck, allegedly stabbed the 28-year-old driver of a black sedan.

The man suffered stab wounds to his face and neck and was rushed to New York Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center in stable condition.

Lakatos was taken into custody and charged with assault.
