UPDATE (2:07 P.M.) -- The family of James Ballard has been notified of his death. Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones confirms that the family was found and has been informed. BIBB COUNTY, Ga. (WGXA) - Macon officials need the public's help in trying to find the family of a man who died Wednesday.

BARNESVILLE, Ga. — The Georgia Bureau of Investigation announced two juveniles were arrested for felony murder after driving by a teenager and shooting him to death. According to the GBI, Hakim Wellmaker, 17 of Barnesville, was shot Sunday evening. The Lamar County Sheriff’s Office received a call about a man with a gunshot wound on Matthews Street in Barnesville. When deputies and officers from the Barnesville Police Department arrived, they found Wellmaker shot multiple times.

It’s my understanding that the Presbyterians first organized in Forsyth in the late 1830s. The present church was moved to this location in 1900. According a 1990s Georgia historic survey, there are Carpenter Gothic elements to the architecture now hidden by siding. I’m guessing this was in the steeples. It’s a great old church, nonetheless.
