Peanut butter on a hot dog? Even Mayor Miller is getting involved
Well, Macon, I’ve apparently started a controversy. And of all the things I could have possibly become known for in this wonderful city, I never imagined it would involve a hot dog, a jar of peanut butter and the Mayor of Macon! But here we are, and apparently my taste in hot dog toppings has become a matter of public discussion. Who knew that something so delicious could cause so much commotion? It all started during a recent episode of my Let’s Eat podcast about Macon Burger Week. One of my fellow Burger Squad members mentioned that cream cheese was an incredibly underrated topping for hamburgers. As we talked about unusual toppings, he suggested cream cheese might even be delicious on a hot dog. That’s when I casually mentioned that my absolute favorite hot dog topping is peanut butter. You would have thought I’d suggested putting motor oil on pancakes! The reactions were priceless, and apparently there are people walking among us who believe peanut butter belongs exclusively on sandwiches, crackers and celery sticks. To those people, I have just one thing to say. You’re missing out! I was recently on The Creek 100.9 on the morning show with Charles

Windsor pummels Robert Toombs Christian 57-8 to punch ticket to state title game
Windsor Academy is officially heading to the state championship game, and the Knights wasted little time making sure of it, steamrolling the Robert Toombs Christian Academy Crusaders 57-8 to punch their ticket. Behind five rushing touchdowns from senior quarterback Heath Woodard in the first half and another explosive performance from sophomore running back Jaquan Lewis, top-seeded Windsor dominated the No. 4-seeded Crusaders right from the opening kickoff. The Knights improved to 10-1, extending their winning streak to 10 games, while the Crusaders finished their season 0-11. “They’ve been a great two-headed monster,” Windsor head coach Dylan Bass said of Woodard and Lewis. Windsor’s offense struck immediately after RTCA came up short on a fake punt. On the Knights very first possession of the game, Lewis burst into a near 70 yard run that got his unit all the way to the 5-yard line. Woodard, who came into the contest leading the Knights in rushing touchdowns, showed off his impressive speed as he raced around the right edge for the opening touchdown. RTCA’s second drive started strong before being forced to punt. Woodard added a 35-yard barreling score on the ground on this possession for the Knights. The senior signal caller
