Over 20K Arkansans without power due to severe weather
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Over 20,491 people are without power as severe weather moved through Arkansas during the overnight hours on Wednesday. The state is currently experiencing heavy rain and hail. Around 12:30 a.m., an unconfirmed tornado caused extensive damage in Hot Springs, leaving 7,788 people without power in Garland County.

HOT SPRINGS, Ark. — Severe storms passed through south Hot Springs overnight, damaging homes and property and leaving thousands without power. According to reports, Hot Springs Fire Department crews performed search and rescue operations in the Lakeland Drive and Peninsula Drive communities. At this time, the following streets are impassable and should be avoided:
