    HCRS announces top anglers in Ralph Stanton Memorial Bass Tournament

    MOORESBURG — The Hawkins County Rescue Squad held its 32nd Annual Ralph Stanton Memorial Bass Tournament on Saturday, April 27, at Quarryville Boat Ramp in Mooresburg.

    A total of 68 teams entered the tournament competing for cash awards for the top four places and the Lunker award.

    Award winners for the 32nd annual event include:

    First place — Rufus Johnson and Craig Brewer, 17.3 pounds

    Second place — Robbie Linkous and Jacob Linkous, 13.12 pounds

    Third place — Coy Jordan and Donnie Holder, 13.6 pounds

    Fourth place — J.R. Henard and Travis Carpenter, 13.5 pounds

    Lunker — Rufus Johnson and Craig Brewer, 5.10 pounds

    The other results have been posted on the Rescue Facebook Page and website at www.hawkinscorescuesquad.org .

    Hawkins County Rescue Squad Junior Members would also like to thank each angler who purchased breakfast from their breakfast fundraiser.

    “Hawkins County Rescue Squad again would like to thank all the different anglers, sponsors, and our members who helped make this year’s tournament a success. The funds raised from the event are used for the betterment of our agency and to improve the services we provide for the citizens and visitors of Hawkins County.     Information about the 33rd Annual Ralph Stanton Memorial Bass Tournament will be released in early 2025.
