Arrests, sentencings, fire calls for April 25

Wright County Sheriff arrests:

• Marie Lynn Carlisle, 62, of Monticello was arrested April 15 in Monticello on a charge of domestic assault.

• Jonathan Thomas Correll, 22, of Elk River was arrested April 17 in Monticello on a Wright County warrant for third-degree DWI.

• Michael David Chadwick, 42, of Monticello was arrested April 18 in Monticello on a charge of driving after license cancellation.

• Samuel Lee Kowitz, 30, of Sauk Rapids was arrested April 19 in Monticello on a charge of third-degree DWI test refusal.

• Cheyanne Sherrie Amiot, 34, of Montrose was arrested April 20 in Monticello on a charge of second-degree DWI.

• Luke Michael Graditi, 31, of Waite Park was arrested April 20 in Monticello on a charge of fifth-degree controlled substance.

• Megan Renee Hall, 24, of St Cloud was arrested April 20 in Monticello on charges of fifth-degree controlled substance, giving an officer a false name/DOB and introducing contraband into a correctional facility.

• Chad Richard Latvaaho, 54, of Monticello was arrested April 20 in Monticello on a charge of third-degree DWI.

• Cory William McClanahan, 33, of Monticello was arrested April 21 in Monticello on a charge of domestic assault by strangulation.

Wright County Sheriff by the numbers:

From April 15-22, there were 21 property damage accidents, two personal injury accidents, four hit-and-runs, four car-vs-deer accidents, 10 DWI arrests, three for underage consumption, six school bus stop arm violations and 115 miscellaneous traffic violations reported.

Monticello Fire Department calls for service:

• Vehicle fire on Interstate 94 near mile marker 198 at 12:11 p.m. April 15

• Lift assist on Vine Street at 4:29 p.m. April 16

• Commercial fire alarm on School Boulevard at 9:16 p.m. April 17

• Vehicle fire on Interstate 94 near mile marker 189 at 10:17 p.m. April 18

• Commercial fire alarm on Edmonson Avenue NE at 11 a.m. April 19

• Motor vehicle accident on Interstate 94 near mile marker 195 at 3:54 a.m. April 20

• Vehicle fire on Interstate 94 near mile marker 191 at 3:37 a.m. April 21

• Commercial fire alarm on Chelsea Road West at 7:50 p.m. April 21

Wright County Attorney’s Office court sentences:

• Jesse Floyd Mayes, 35, of Buffalo, was sentenced April 15 to commit for 12 months and one day, stay of execution, five years’ probation and 90 days jail. He must also remain/reinstate on probation on all prior terms and conditions for a probation violation for receiving stolen property.

DNR Conservation Officer’s Report:

• CO Trent Seamans (Big Lake) patrolled for anglers and turkey hunters. Additional time was spent following up on various complaints at Sand Dunes State Forest. Hunting pressure seemed lower than normal for turkey season. Several hunters unintentionally harvested too many turkeys with one shot.
