One dead, two injured at shooting in Lumberton home
LUMBERTON, N.C. – An early Sunday morning shooting resulted in one fatality and two injuries in Lumberton. Two individuals arrived separately at UNC Health Southeastern with gunshot wounds at approximately 2:55 am. James Edward Blount Jr., 43, was later discovered dead at his home on Nevada Street. Nicholes Leggett, 43, and Marcus Alford, 35, have been transferred to a hospital for treatment of their gunshot wounds.
