Berthoud baseball falls to familiar foes in 3A state playoffs
The Spartans made it to the eight-team state playoffs last weekend and finished the season 25-3—the best record in school history!. Hearts were broken on May 25 when Berthoud High School’s baseball team’s outstanding season ended against rivals Resurrection Christian High School in their second meeting of the year. After earning the title of regional champions last week, the Spartans competed in the state championship tournament for the first time in decades this past weekend in Weld County.
MPCC releases spring Dean’s List
A total of 135 students qualified for the Mid-Plains Community College Dean’s List during the 2024 spring semester. To make the list, students had to complete 12 or more applicable credit hours of college-level courses and maintain an overall grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 – 3.89 on a 4.0 scale.
