A groundbreaking ceremony for Hudson County Community College’s new Center for Student Success will take place at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, June 18, at 2 Enos Pl., Jersey City. The new 11-story building will be multipurpose, and will have classrooms, offices, a gym, and a theater. Hudson County Executive Craig Guy says, “This project will serve thousands of students here at Hudson County Community College. The HCCC Center for Student Success will be the epicenter of study, creativity, activity, and collaboration between students and the surrounding communities.”

Angela McKnight, D-Jersey City, and Councilwoman Mira Prinz-Arey presented citations to the graduates from the state senate and the city. HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, NJ - The Hasbrouck Heights Board of Education approved Dr. Jillian Torrento as the new Superintendent of Schools during the Thursday night meeting. She will replace Interim Superintendent Michael Polizzi, who was appointed in June 2023. The Board approved Torrento's three-year contract beginning July 1, 2024, running through June 30, 2027.
