Passaic County Sheriff's Office Shuts Down Little Falls Drug Operation
LITTLE FALL, NJ - An illegal drugs operation being run out of a Little Falls home has been shut down following an investigation by the Passaic County Sheriff Office’s Bureau of Narcotics (BON), with the assistance of the Little Falls Police Department. According to Passaic County Sheriff Richard H Berdnik, members of the BON established surveillance at 31 Newark Pompton Tpk. in Little Falls. During the surveillance, a statement said, detectives observed Victor M Miranda exit his second floor residence and enter his vehicle before proceeding to Paterson. Once in Paterson, the reports says, Miranda conducted a sale of cocaine to Ramon Rivera, 53, a Paterson resident. Continuing the investigation, including of a garage rented by Miranda led the discovery of almost a pound of pure cocaine, more than $21,000 in proceeds from illegal drug sales, a “ghost gun” loaded with 13 bullets, and several items of drug paraphernalia “all indicative of a drug manufacturing facility” Miranda was arrested and has been charged with a number of crimes related to the possession and sales of drugs, and weapons possession.
