Woodmont Elementary in Montville Placed on Lockdown
MONTVILLE, NJ – Woodmont Elementary School was under lockdown conditions for about one and a half hours on Thursday morning, April 18, according to Montville Township Police Chief Andrew Caggiano. PARSIPPANY, NJ - The Parsippany Police have released the following scam alert to all residents: A scam was recently reported to our department involving a tree-cutting service. The scammers are illegally soliciting victims, claiming to be performing tree removal services on behalf of the Township of Parsippany – Troy Hills for properties that were “likely to be condemned”. They are accepting money and not returning to perform the service. The incident is currently under investigation.
